Ancient Paths to Initiations for Women

We bring to you, with great joy, the opportunity to participate in women’s initiations.

This commitment by whomever chooses to participate needs to be really clear and we feel it is imperative for each of you to get a taste of what will be ahead. Please join us if you feel called to initiation.
Experience the profound transformation of stepping into you own radiance. This program will begin on the new moon of August (Aug.1) and continue for a period of 9-12 months. The length of time involved will depend on the participants. We will create a bridge between ancient wisdom and contemporary knowledge.. Beginning at 6:30 PM we will gather around a fire and will begin by feeding ourselves with a potluck and getting to know one another. Following our introductions, there will be a council circle where each and every participant will get an opportunity to express their questions and concerns regarding the content of the program. We will be prepared to address these in depth. There will be ceremony during this gathering and we ask each participant to bring something that is precious, something to which you are attached; however, this will be something that you will no longer have at the end of the evening. Donations for this evening will be appreciated.

We wish to thank you all for the amazing response we have received for the initiation program. It is so clear that this is something women are seeking at this time in space. So many ancient traditions have understood the need and the value of initiation while western culture has left us devoid of this opportunity. We wish to suggest that many of us are from ancestry that is deeply confusing, in essence, many of us are mutts or we have no elders to turn to. It is difficult to find that tradition and culture that will resonate fully with whom we are. We wish to suggest that those people who are indigenous to a culture that is still intact, some of the Maya, Huichol, Dagara and others have their clear ceremonies, their clear traditions that speak clearly to them. We believe that we are a piece of many of these cultures and we are offering an opportunity to find your own resonance by bringing to this sacred space a little piece of several different cultures.

We also wish to announce that we have had so many responses from women who very much wish to attend but who find the cost prohibitive. We are going to fix this. We want this to be available to all and we are willing to cut the cost in half during the months that there are no other facilitators involved. When additional facilitators join us, we will ask for additional donations and know that those who can afford to do so will make offerings. We also ask that those of you who know you can afford the original cost of $200 per month begin the step for bringing balance back into the world and know that your contributions will allow those who can truly not afford to attend an opportunity for scholarships. During the final month the cost will remain at $300 as this requires a huge commitment for all involved and will generate some serious expense on the part of The Sacred Earth Foundation. This fee can be covered by saving the cost of a monthly meal out over the course of the year.

Some of the ceremonies and traditions involved during this emergence from your chrysalis will include: Reconciliation ceremonies from New Guinea, This is a time for forgiveness of others and, more importantly, forgiveness of self Ceremonies of gratitude including some aspects from Chumash and Mayan traditions. Burials: letting go of the past cleansing yourselves, feeling the oneness with Mother Earth to arise in the wisdom of who you truly are. We will journey for soul retrieval You will learn through ceremony to find your own calling, your own gifts that have brought you to this plane.

We hope this is informative and will help you to sit with the possibilities and the knowledge that this is the time to rebalance the feminine energy of our consciousness with the masculine energy that is so out of balance today. The Goddess is reemerging and each and every one of us, including the men, are a part of this shift of the ages. It is up to us, as women, to nurture to lead and to emerge from our sleep into the divine lights that we all are.

Before anyone signs up for this program, they must attend the initial gathering on August 1 at 3044 Calle Rosales, Santa Barbara.
